CORE VALUES
Radical Acceptance: We accept one another for who we are – without exception
Unconditional Love: We love one another as fellow children of God – not as a condition of perceived merit
Prayer: Connecting the needs of people with the God who answers
Worship: An expression of gratitude of thankful and forgiven people
Giving: Extensions of our time, resources, and abilities for the greater good
Serving: We serve one another by contributing our unique set of God-given strengths to the good of others
Relevance: Being culturally connected; understanding where people are in life
Global Thinking: Having a scope or view beyond our small area of influence
Experiential Learning: We challenge one another to put our faith to practice, then reflect on our experiences
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:13-14 (NIV)
OUR STORY
Building an Inclusive Christian Ministry

United Methodist Reconciling Fellowship is striving for a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one ministry to join faith and action. We desire to weave God’s message of hope with action for justice and peace. We believe in a God that is still speaking and a God that is all loving and inclusive. We are a ministry that is working in South Georgia to provide a welcoming and accepting environment where your mind is nourished as much as your soul.
As we are beginning this ministry, we hope you will reach out to contribute you gifts to help build this ministry in South Georgia. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how you can be a part of this ministry.
MEETING UP
“Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the LORD and called upon the name of the LORD”
Genesis 12:8
We currently meet up at homes or local venues that can provide us a space for fellowship, bible study, and worship. We are in the process of seeking out a permanent location with the help of others getting involved with the ministry.
